Yvonne joins the team in 2024 but her journey in ministry began in the Bronx, NY where she studied Youth Ministry with a minor in Communications at Nyack Christian College. She initially served as Assistant Youth Director and Drama Director at Harvest Fields Community Church, where she developed her leadership and program development skills.
Yvonne's passion for combining ministry with creativity led her to found A.C.T.S. (Anointed Comedy That Saves), a non-profit teaching urban youth acting through comedy and sketches. It briefly functioned as a youth activity at Harvest Fields and an evangelistic ministry that visited multiple churches and local events.
In South Carolina, Yvonne, along with her husband, further honed her skills as Media Directors in the Young Adults ministry at Faith Assembly, sharpening her media and communication abilities. Her move to Florida saw her expand her expertise, serving first as Assistant to the Assemblies of God Presbyter in Kissimmee, then as Youth Director, along with her husband, and eventually holding a church staff position as Communications Director for a church in Sanford, where she managed comprehensive communication strategies.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Yvonne adeptly transitioned to remote work, managing social media for a church in Georgia, as well as supported multiple Christian small business owners, showcasing her ability to engage digital audiences effectively. Her journey reflects a dynamic blend of leadership, innovation, and adaptability in various facets of ministry and communication.
Yvonne will serve as Administrator for the Passion Center and our church planting arm, Passion2Plant, where she will be a right hand to Dr. Rios.
