Dr. Gerardo de Jesús is a contemplative-activist pastoral counselor, author, and educator rooted in the Puerto Rican Diaspora. He is the founder of Fusion Pastoral Counseling, LLC, where his work integrates Jungian analysis, spiritual care, and post-colonial theological reflection. He is the author of Underserved Suffering: A Psychospiritual Autobiography of Post-Colonial Faith, a deeply personal and prophetic exploration of faith, psychology, and colonial trauma and most recently, The Stuff God Is, WE ARE TOO: The Challenge of Nones and Latinx and the Obstacles that Prevent Our Seeing.
Dr. de Jesús studied Theology and Pastoral Psychology at Claremont School of Theology and currently teaches in the Doctor of Ministry program at Union Theological Seminary. He joins the Passion Center as a Spiritual Formation Minister and 2026 Scholar-in-Residence, bringing a rare blend of contemplative depth, pastoral wisdom, and liberative practice. He lives in Central Florida with his wife, Loudes.
