If you are local to the South Florida area and would like to have a place to dream of what the future of the church can look like, join this first pilot group of Brown Church Fellows. The program is a one year committment that will meet June 2021-May 2022.

Joining with The Brown Church Institute, the Passion Center is piloting the first cohort of Brown Church Fellows in the South Florida area. The goal of the program is to disciple, mentor and dream with a group of 18-30 year olds about the future of the church based on justice, theology and brown identity. There are three tracks to chose from: church planting, journalism, activism (community organizing and civic engagement).

The Fellows will meet twice a month and be exposed to a variety of Brown Church guest speakers from around the country. Our hope is that COVID19 will be gone by then. But it will go forward nonetheless, digitially. There will be a variety of activities fellows will need to carry out in their respective tracks and at the end of the program, they will have to present a holistic ministry plan to carry out in their respective faith communities or through the Passion Center (if they decide to stay on the team).

Registration information will be posted in March 2020.
